Honour one of Australia’s most moving remembrance traditions with this meaningful commemorative coin.

Originally sounded to mark the end of a soldier’s day, the Last Post has become a powerful tribute to those who have served in wars, conflicts and peace operations. Played after the Ode of Remembrance and before a minute’s silence, its familiar notes invite us to pause, reflect and remember.

✨ Coin Highlights:

• 2026 The Last Post commemorative design

• Coloured $2 coin

• A tribute to service, sacrifice and remembrance

• Twilight colours of dusky orange and deep purple

• A meaningful addition to any Australian coin collection

🎨 The Design:

A lone bugler stands before a war memorial at sundown, surrounded by bars of music that radiate like sound waves and echo the arc of the setting sun.

Musical staves and bars are incorporated into the sculpted relief beneath the colour print. Musical rests symbolise both the silence that follows the Last Post and the final rest of fallen service personnel.

Memorial steps anchor the scene, while the inscriptions “The Last Post” and “Remembrance” follow the curve of the coin. Dusky oranges and deep purples capture the stillness of twilight, creating a moving tribute to those we remember.

🔎 Important Condition Information:

Although uncirculated, coins removed from bags may show imperfections from the manufacturing and bulk-handling processes, including scratches, dings, contact marks and paint imperfections or chips.

UNC refers to the coin’s uncirculated status and does not mean it is flawless. Please consider these potential imperfections before purchasing.

This listing is for one loose coin only. No presentation card or full bag is included.
